Best money saving idea...... wait 'til Monday when England have been knocked out of the World Cup then shops will be giving it away. Buy loads of stuff and keep it until Euro 2008 then sell it all on ebay for a profit.

Car flags? Very un-money-saving, given that (if the figure I heard quoted is at all accurate) they add about a pound an hour to your petrol bill. Not to mention all those extra emissions...

just been to Asda and they have lots of mugs at £1 - so if it goes wrong on Sunday they may be reduced

just been to tesco's and they are giving away england rattles and plastic england hats, customer service said they are doing this on the day of every england game
