Hob scraper where to buy or substitute

Hello there,

I was watching How clean is your house, and Kim and Aggie were cleaning the glass on the oven door with Bicarb of Soda and washing up liquid. They made it into a paste and put it on the glass, left it for a little while, and then scraped it off with a hob scraper.
Ive never heard of one of these before, anyone got any ideas where I can buy one, or what I can use as a substitute?

Many thanks

Jackie

I would imagine a plastic car ice scraper would do the same thing
  • If you're careful, you can use one of those Stanley blade scrapers that are made for getting paint off glass.

I use a Stanley scraper designed for getting paint off glass. I use it for all sorts of things, even scraping paint off glass...sticky labels, gunge off the tile floors, spots in the oven.
