Indian Take Aways in Bangor

Love a good Indian on a Saturday night - for anyone similarly minded in my part of Bangor, we decided to try the new Curry Bazaar at Ashbury tonight, the naan bread was ok but the rest was totally average/poor, very commercial and like something you could knock up yourself with a jar of sauce. Won't be back and will stick to our usual (in Abbey Street)

Best Indian take out's in Bangor are the one on the Belfast Rd coming into Bangor from Belfast on the A2 & the Taj above the job center on High Street.
I come over from Donaghadee for mine as the Indian in the Dee is !!!! & overpriced!

Try the Bengal in Abbey Street, it's really good.

Spice Island,bottom of High Street, only 1 wee problem they dont take calls from withheld numbers, otherwise great food and quick delivery.....

Surely you would have to try the Bokhara just off the main street

Green Chilli on Dufferin Avenue (beside the train station) is consistently outstanding and very cheap.

Lovely staff, very welcoming and it's a BYO too.

Sit in or take away.
