Christmas Trees: Bangor

Any recommendations for where to go for christmas trees in or around Bangor? Very small car so would need delivered, and allergic to pine sap so can't carry home from close places! Last year got a tree from out at the ring road, towards Newtownards and it just fell apart, shedding all December. Trying to avoid that this year.

TBH, sounds like an artificial would be best!0

I just take anti-histamines and enjoy the pine-smell and family likes real ones.0

Donaghadee Garden Centre deliver and do different types of tree, one of which doesn't loose their needles (can't remember the name) - we got one a few years ago and it was great, but I think they are expensive. We've switched to artifical because of allergies too!0

New place now beside Class Fitness off the Newtownards Road - Robs trees & wreaths, good selection and stock.0

There's a place that sells trees near Carrowdore (Abbey Rd) Coulter's Trees - very reasonably priced and I have always found their trees to last well. Not sure if they deliver though - u could phone and c - their number is: 028 91 862481. Hope this helps0

You can also check the Garden Centre on Belfast Rd, Clandeboye estate & beside Snakes & Ladders all in the Bangor area, price around and see what you can get.0

Got one from WoodStoc, beautiful tree, nice people. Fitted in the car, but they were charging £5 for delivery. I'll report in if it survives December well. Cannot emphasise how helpful the staff were0
