The Sun - Debenhams voucher experience

As I'm sure you all know The Sun newspaper, everyday, is giving it's readers £40 worth of vouchers to use in Debenhams. These vary from £5 off Hot Diamonds jewellery to £20 off a £100 pound spend. If you've not seen it I suggest doing a forum search because some very kind people have listed all the offers from all of the days various papers.

I just wanted to let everyone know what I managed to get today and hopefully the same deal will work for you

I've been after a decent quality pan set for my parents for some time and know they've ben looking at the Mayer Select series. Debenhams have a 5 pan set currently on offer for £100, down from an rediculously over inflated £200 (just so they can offer it at £100 and prove it was on sale at the higher price previously..). Today instore they're offering a futher 20% off.
I've also been on the look out for a black leather handbag for my mother. She's very particular about her bags so I hope the one I bought is going to conform to her high standards but I got a Jasper Conran black leather bag for £65. Again, today theres 20% off.

Using The Sun £20 off £100 spend voucher and also signing up for a Debenhams card, I got both items for £98.80. I totally forgot to use my nectar card to get another £15 off, but I'm very pleased

I know the pans will likely go down to £50 in the sale, but I'm not much of a sales bod, so I'll leave those to all the eager beavers on here :A

Wouldn't have got you far. Debenhams stopped accepting Nectar over a year ago.

Well Done Matt - well sorted!

Helix is right though- Debenhams don't accept Nectar anymore, but you have still saved yourself a small fortune, so that's what matters!

Thanks guys, I'd have looked a bit of a twit then Still, the way I see it is if I don't use the points one day, they're there to use the next!

Sort of, you can't go into Debenhams and ask them to claim the points like you used to. But Sainsburys do gift cards for many major stores including Debenhams so you can use your points to buy a gift card in Sainsburys and use them that way.
