Your account is probably primed for the survey. I think they send it to people with certain buying patterns. So if you do get sent it, you would have already used the code.

Even stranger though is that when i tried the code yesterday it was accepted, but I didn't complete the purchase (whenever I logged back in the code worked again though, just kept getting called away!). But today I get the 'secret code' error message.

I think it'll be for new customers.

The code may appear to work but your order will be cancelled.

This is a refer a friend promotion. The code will not work unless you have been invited by a friend using their form. And that friend needs to recevie the invite and sign up with the same email address.
