Go to https://www.avforums.com . Probably the best site for all AV related material where you can find out the basic differences, or go to a really indepth level.Waddle you do eh?0 -
Agree and hopefully save more by going through cashback sites! :jdeanos wrote:They are part of the same group but act as different companys hense why prices are not always the same it pays to check all websites before buying something.0 -
If one is out of stock you can ring the other up and they will give it at the same price.2p off is still 2p off!0

I think this is a misprice... Currys 2199, PCWorld 1299 !!!
Dixons have it cheaper then 2199 but as they are closing them down that could be why.
Snap this up and I'm sure you could source some discount codes too to make it even cheaper.0 -
I saw an sale offer for a PNY attache (512mb) USB storage stick in Currys - £12.49. I went in and was told it was out of stock but PC World over the road had 29 in stock and if I took the offer leaflet which I had with me in there they would give it to me for the same price even though over there it was £14.99.
I took the item to the till and sure enough it cost me £12.49 - the sale price for Currys!
I'm presuming this works both ways.
The moral of the tale is to take any offer pamphlets (this one was in the Daily Mirror) with you and if you cant get it in the store its offerred ...PC World or Currys - go to the other store and get it for the sale price there.

If you buy it at Currys for £2200 then see it at PC World for £1300 then wont Currys be obliged to give you 110% of the differance i.e. £990 making it £1210?0

Currys don't price match the dixons website.
A Panasonic 42 inch plasma TV with Viera stand was (and still is as of last saturday) £1799 in my Local currys. On the Dixons website it was only £1360 ish, but with several discount codes managed to get it down to less than £1300. Currys said that it's impossible for them to match even the £1360 price as they would be making a huge loss - what rubbish!
I ended up actually buying it from Empire Direct as Dixons kept cancelling the order as it was suddenly out of stock every time. Think it was about £1348 at Empire + Delivery with a little off by going through a cashback site.

Dixons price match policy and companies they price match, but could'nt find anything about Currys doing the same?

http://www.dixons.co.uk/dixons-price-match/index.html:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T
