URGENT help really needed, baking question

    Have you got any banking powder? I add 2Tbsp for 12 muffins ;)

    Do you mean tbsp or tsp? :confused:

    tablespoons seem a lot as the recipe only has 4oz of flour.

  • I use this recipe - for 6 muffins it uses 1/2Tbs baking powder. From experience, I use twice that and double the recipe, hence 2Tbsp :D

    I understand with your recipe as it is 5oz of flour for 6 muffins, but the op's recipe only uses 4oz of flour for 12 muffins so I'd go with 1/2tbsp of baking powder or 2tsp's. :)

    Hi again,

    Just got back from the fair (after tidying up etc...) the muffins were fab thanks, went down a storm. I'm not to sure how much I put in the end (about a tbsp I think)

    Sorry I didn't reply earlier I was already VERY late and as I was santas little helper (outfit and all!) I wouldn't have done to not be there for the opening!
