Where's the best place to buy the smaller energy saving lightbulbs (the ones the same size as a traditional light bulb)?

I'd try Wilkinsons as your best bet.0

Ikea are generally good - if there's one near you - packs of 3 seem to be best value (can't remember the price)
Otherwise Poundland and other Pound shops genrally stock them at ... £10 -
Thanks for your replies. Wilkinson's is going to be my best bet, I think. Nearest anyway!0

In reply to the original post, if you're after the smaller ones (that don't stick out of your lampshade!), look out for the spiral design ones, they tend to be more compact. Don't know if Wilkinson's stock those type (no branches near me), but my sister in law bought some recently online I think it was bettergeneration.co.uk or you could do a search on froogle for "spiral low energy light bulbs"0

Yes, and they are smaller than the usual energy saving bulbs, so they may be just what OP is looking for...:)Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Tesco were selling the smaller kind, not so long ago....23pence.0

I found some high powered ones in Homebase for £2 each, worth picking up even if you don't need them, someone will0
