£3,000 as cash - credit card or loan?
Hi all.. I need to raise £3,000 to be useable as cash pretty quickly. I have no credit card debt, have good credit and no other loans, just a mortgage. I'm in full time employment and can clear the debt witin a couple of months, it's just that I have no spare capital at the moment, so need to borrow it from somewhere. The reason I need it is because of some last minute DIY/home improvement that I want to get done before Christmas (nothing like leaving it till the last minute ).
So whats the best way for me to get this money with paying the least charges? Would it be a new credit card or some type of bank loan? Ideally I would want to be able to pay it off fairly quickly.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I did a bit of digging and I could apply for a Virgin credit card and do a cash transfer from Virgin to my current account, this has a 4% charge and then I believe is interest free for 16 months. Seems a good option?0

many people use virgin cards successfully, a bit worrying the fee is creeping up, 4% ...
setup a DD to pay of the min every month and pay the first month manually as the DD does not always go live in time0 -
Loan if possible0
