I am a total mortgage novice and am hoping that someone on here may have some answers for me.
My husband and I are currently living in rented accomodation. He works full time with a salary of £31k and I am a stay at home Mum of 3 children, with appox. £4k per annum income. My brother in law has been offered a job in London and needs to move closer to the city, so he has offered us his house on a 50% ownership idea as we are not in a position to afford to buy one outright as we need a 3 bed minimum and they are going for about £210k and we are 1st time buyers!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we go about organising this? Any particular mortgage provider that deals with this kind of thing? I have googled, but not had many relevant results. I would like to have some knowledge under my belt before I start contacting companies as currently I am completly clueless!
