My windows media player won't open no matter what I click. I connected my mp3 player as it usually brings WMP up but nothing happened.
After clicking on a file via the player's software I could hear the song but couldn't see the player. Any clues what is wrong

When you bring up task manager, does it show in there?0

if you can hear the music it seems you have a problem with the GUI frontend but the backend is still functioning. Could you please let me know what version of windows you are running and if you know it which version of wmp you have installed0
