I have just had an email from supersavvyme.com offering free samples and gifts just for joining, so I joined and they're sending me free Oaly eye derma pod samples and foundation samples. Just working my way through the offers, looks good so far and seems to be owned by Proctor & Gamble so probably not dodgy!!

Are you sure this is not a scam?

They sent me an email saying I recently gave them permission to contact me by e-mail which I certainly haven't.

I hope not!

Sometimes there's a box on the screen that you have to tick/untick to NOT be put on their mailing list - it can be easy to miss and is very underhand imho. Do you think that might have been why they kept your details? See if you can unsubscribe, good luck xo

Thanks but I've never had anything to do with them or even heard of them.

I've no idea how they got my email address and have certainly given them no permission to contact me. It then suggests joining up today and offers a free sample for registering which is very fishy if they are claiming they have permission.

As for unsubscribing you suggest I never do that now as once when I did it was a scam and gave my email address to the scammers and I got
hundreds of vulgar mails.

I know, spam is such a pain, isn't it.

No idea how they originally got my email addy - I emailed P&G a while back to complain about a faulty bottle of Aussie shampoo so maybe that was how they had my details.
