mortgage aplication today

had a mortgage promise from halifax 2 months ago.. had all my paperwork there on front of the muppet and eem he made a mockery of it.
As they say the mortgage promise its no worth the paper!
we went looking for a loan of 190 k and with 40 k deposit. and he offered us a shocking 343 k affordability !.. it made us think ditching ''sunny'' lewisham and instead going to look for houses in chelsea !

we found a house for 233 and offer accepted , went today with same papers... different mortgage consultant.
1- he hadnt noticed my wife is on spouse visa, and thats likely not to go well with any lender..-spoue visa is not a permanent visa!

2 he only looked at my last 10 months payslips which show each 4.500 k gross income but barely spent 2 mins on my 3 years accounts as i own the company and i m director.
the halifax woman now wants a letter from my accountant , stating my 3 years wages, and a projection for next year.
Projection for next year of my wages is some 50 k, up from 44k in 2009 and i can prove already that in the first quarter of the new tax year i have done very very well.

but got problem with my 2007 and 2008 accounts
the muppet accountant i had previoiusly, hasnt even stated ''director's wages
sort of aware i was at 5000 a year wages plus 15.000 dividents

and for the last year i m on 44000 wage no dividents.
could have posted here but no attachment allowed .

halifax woman said should be all fine if she gets projection and letter from accountant and although small wages before they show i am on the up, but im terrified!
