I agree with postingalwaysposting
they got themselves out of debt by selling stuff, I guess its proof itself!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Have you thought of doing something like betterware as a short term second job? IT is ideal for doing in the evenings especially when the nights are light. And , no, I have no connection except that I have done this on a couple of occassions and it has worked well. It is delivering brochures then collecting them in and delivering goods ordered. As a rough guide it takes about 1hour to put out about 100 catalogues and you will get (on average!) about £100 of orders per 100 books of which you get to keep £20 (don't forget you have to collect in books also and then deliver the goods so that is not £20 per hour!). It is fairly predictable although it can go up and down a bit and is great in the run up to Xmas. It is one of those things that pays you according to how much you want to do. You can scan the local paper for ads about brochure delivery or go on to the betterware website and leave a message to say you are interested and a local coi-ordinator will contact you. They give you an area so you know you will not fall over 10 other people delivering the same brochure. If you are prepared to work at it it is possible to do 500 books a week there fore making about £100 a week.
With betterware the books etc are all free unlike kleeneze where you have to pay for everything.!£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j

You can get plenty of jobs doing things like delivering the phone directory too (if its the right time of year)- and you'd be suprised how many grown adults have paper rounds (Its also a lot easier to do when you can drive around the estates to drop them off instead of walking at 7am in the morning before school!)"People who "do things" exceed my endurance,

Thanks everyone.
When I get home tonight I'll have a look and my stuff and see what I've got and what I'll part with. I'm going to go into being quite ruthless...my piece of mind is more important than my stuff and even if it only brings in a little amount, it is very much worth it!
Still plodding on with looking for an evening/weekend job, although my other half is not keen on me working in a bar in the evenings. May see if the local hotel has any jobs going...will call them later.0 -
Thanks everyone. Where would I be without you lot... in a much, much bigger mess (if that's possible) I'd guess!0

What about clothes, sometimes you get those shops that sell things and put a bit on top for their profit?0
