This thread reminds me of a cousin of mine who had invited someone round for the evening - it was in the 70s. He was most indignant because they did not turn up - and he had bought a box of Ritz crackers specially!! :rotfl:0

I remember cheese and wine parties were the thing - loads of sliced french bread with selection of different cheeses. Can you still get Party 4 or Party 7 cans? (Like wine boxes, only big cans holding 4 or 7 pints of beer).One life - your life - live it!0
