My BT/Yahoo ones are horrible as well. Martin has done me a favour in a round-about way!

This was so good I just had to post it:

Tesco ban on shoppers in pyjamas
It sounds like something The Daily Mash would have come up with - but astonishingly, it's all true, right down to the laydee popping out for some fags in her jamas who thought the ban was "ridiculous" and "pathetic".
Ah, makes me proud to be British.0 -

" there I was, look, in my baby doll nightie, isn`t it. I made sure that my cheeky chappy wasn`t on view like, and this big fellow in an uniform came over. Oh misses, no fags for them that ain`t dressed right he said. Oh I said, blow you like, Mrs. Williams who runs The Spar, she ain`t worried when I comes in in my Rupert Bear sleeping suit for a bottle of Frosty Jack. Trouble is see Tescos is getting all posh look ,uppity it is"0

Sorry, that was a conditioned response caused by having rabid Welsh Nationalist friends in the 70's who would froth and foam at any mention of being British
My mum also had a Welsh friend who found us a wonderful "rescue" Welsh collie from a farm near them (untrainable cos he was scared of sheep) and took great delight in telling us that "naturally" the dog only understood welsh commands, so we would have to learn. Still laugh over the looks I got in our local park when I yelled "pied" "tiddy mar" and "gorvel lowr"Murphy was an optimist!!!0 -
