Sports Direct ~ 26" dual disc mountain bike ~ £55 delivered!

Options
Sportsdirect.com have a 1 week special on bikes.

I have ordered an adult blue Dunlop Dual Disc bike RRP £149.99 on sale for £74.99.

If you enter shopping code "BIKE" at checkout you save an extra £15 bringing total to £60 inc free delivery!! A great present for my 12 year old son for christmas. :j

I cant post links but brief details are

>Robust alloy rims and off-road tyres give excellent road holding

>This cycle is covered by a 12-month manufacturers warranty

>Multi-purpose deep-tread tyres

Sizing:
>26" wheel suitable for inside leg 29-35" ages 12+ (18 Speed, Blue)

The dual-suspension frame gives an incredibly smooth, comfortable ride whilst the front and rear disc-brakes give excellent stopping power.

I hope this is useful to someone and if a duplicate post I am sorry but I have searched for similar posts and couldn't find anything

    Thanks very much for posting.

Have just ordered this bike for my OH so he can join me on my tour de france training sessions.

We all have to start somewhere!
  • This is fantastic, my son is 11 and has only just lernt to ride his bike that is unfortunatly too small for him (we lived in flats so he didnt get a bike till 9:eek:!). He will be so happy at christmas, thanks you:j.
  • I assume the offer is on until Friday 25th September as I got the email from sportsdirect on Friday 18th and it said for 1 week only! I grabbed it at £60 to put away for christmas, even though it means storing it for 3 months!!!! lol Just had confirmation that bike will be delivered tomorrow so quick delivery times if you need a bike now!:D

My DD who has just turned 10 has one of these and she's fine on it, I was a bit  when she first got it but she handles it well.
  • well the size fits a 27" to 35" inside leg so should fit an adult.
I have purchased one yesterday, to keep me going at university and i got an email through today saying it has been dispatched already!!!

would anybody mind reporting back when they have tried one of these bikes as I would be interested in one for my son for christmas or birthday to try and tempt him off his X-Box! there have been a few posts on here about Sportsdirect bikes before and people have been a bit sniffy about them - I don't know if they're hard-core bikers who will pay several hundred pounds on a bike or people who've had them in the past and been disappointed. £60 sounds a great price to me!
