How easy it would then be to get them to agree not to pursue the debt depends on who the catalogue company is, vaying from easy (J D Williams) to impossible (Studio).

Are Studio still saying that as they delivered the goods that constitutes agreement of an account? They used to say that but thought they'd realised it doesn't stand up in court lol

Well I haven't had a run-in with them for a year or so. Perhaps I ought to give it another go!
