christmas pudding help!!

hi guys, i'm making my xmas puds today but its turned into a bit of a nightmare!!! i've ended up with 4 small ones (serve 2-3 people) and 2 big ones (serve 4-6 people) but only have room to cook 1 big and 2 small. The 2 small are currently in one of those veg steamers and 1 big in my slow cooker. ANy ideas roughly how long they'll take? The recipe says 5 hours for the full pud which is to serve 8 (i made 1.5 times the recipe). Also, I'm going to struggle to cook the other 3 as I'm out tonight then away for the weekend, would it be ok to freeze the raw mixture then defrost and steam them next week?

Thanks x

I should think you could freeze the mixture. Never done it myself, but I think Christmas pud mix is just about bomb proof. I'd probably cook the smaller puddings for about 3 hours? My cookery teacher used to say you can't really overcook a Christmas pudding, and if it's still a bit wet, well, you've got to steam it again on Christmas Day, haven't you, so I don't think it can go too wrong.
