How about apple bobbing in the garden whilst it is hot (for those old enough to understand and not stick their head under too long!!)? Or a wet sponge fight!? Just thinking of fun & cheap ideas to cool 'em down.....

Craft is quite a big hobby in our home, i even make a tiny bit of money from it so normally we make cards and paper projects and scrapbooks.

I like the idea of apple bobbing, normally only a hallowen thing in our house but the kids do love it so it is certainly an idea.

I guess the main problem is that all the craft stuff is great and we do loads of it but it still means be out there to help and as much as i spend as much time as possible playing with the children i am also looking for ways for them to entertain themselves as well.

Will definitly pop to all the mentioned places to have a look at what offers are on, i know it is not very MSE but i am happy to make do with cheap and cheerful even the bits only last for a year.

Of now to look into the megabus idea:D
