where is the cheapest place to buy orange juice?
for the last few years i've been buying the orange coloured cartons from lidl because they were good value and taste.
they have been 35p for a long time but recently have gone up twice, initially to 38p (i may not have the correct amounts but close enough) and now to 44p!!!
i'm now looking for an alternative that is cheaper/better value.
any ideas?

Can't remember the exact price...maybe 33p or 38p something like that, but Tesco value orange juice is very nice. I have been buying it for years. Hope that helps.

i think whoever manufactures the orange juice for the asda/tesco etc value range has recently put their prices up... so it'll be more than 35p in most places now...The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

I noticed that jump aswell, Tesco's value Oj is now 48p. Not very helpful I know.
Maybe it's a price hike all over making lidl still the cheapest. i hope to be corrected."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0 -
that's obviously why lidl's has gone up then.
global prices must have gone up???
anyone know where you can get some for less than 44p?
what about wholesalers/cash + carry type places?0 -
personally I think the best juice is from Aldi in the glass bottle for 49p0

lidl 44p/litre
aldi (750ml) 65.3p/litre
it may taste nice but it's almost 50% more expensive!!!
any other suggestions?0 -
