The word "reserve" really shouldn't be used . It should be "we may hold the stock for you, and then collect it"

I GOT telephoned by B and Q today too, two stores in fact, to say that the stock wasn;t actually in stock!

Hence why if you want it go and get it they dont hold stock back for you for some considerable time so if you want it get it now

I'm assuming that even if they don't hold it back and it's not in stock when I go to collect it I will still get £2 from quidco. Can't moan at £2 for nothing.

Also when I reserved it said I can't collect til tomorrow so I can't go get it now.

But if you collect it tomorrow the reserve thing is nonsense. It relies on staff to pick item from shop where you can buy it then they hold it in reserve and collect, that can take 5 minutes or 5 hours or whatever, it relies too much on the whim of B&Q staff, its not allocated in a warehouse

I ordered 2 today and just went on shop floor and picked it up thats what B&Q told me to do and then swipe the reserve and collect invoice that they gave me at the reserve & collect desk through the payment machine at the tills

Just checking, but do you just pour the liquid on your patio to clean it, or do you need a special machine?

Just picked my 9 up, all seperate orders, they had them ready and quidco all tracked xx

Just been to get my patio cleaner only to be told at customer services that they were sold out, so much for them ringing if ther was a problem. Very poor customer service. Staff not interested in finding out why no phone call to save me a 16 mile round trip.:mad:

My nearest B&Q showed last night as having no stock....so reserved from one further afield.
By chance today I called into my loacl B&Q ( only 2 miles away) and got the last one - from a huge box by the entrance !!
This was in the afternoon, so chances were that I could have been and collected all my reserved order in the morning if their stock records were up to date.
I have experienced this before with B&Q, that their stock records are pretty useless.
Cuts both ways, it might show they have some stock - but they haven't.
Equally show none left, but they actually have loads....
So it may be worth going in person to your local stores to check for stock yourself.

I still have 2 on order at the second store, but email said it would not be available to collect until tomorrow .....I wonder what the chances of it being there...
