Look on Maximuscle website for Protein shakes, they have Promax and Promax Diet amongst other stuff. I use the Strawberry Promax diet at the moment but it is disgusting, well my mate likes it but its not the flavour for me so I will defo be trying another flavour once this has gone!0

Oh and Asda and other supermarkets and sports shops stock them too so you don't neccassarily have to order them online.0

Celebrity slim shakes are high protein and taste really nice, you can get them at one chemist chain, but I cant remember the name! If you google it you will find it.£100 - £10,0000

I have stomach issues too and I drink complan. They are quite widely available and come as a powder you can mix with milk or they are also available as a powder to make into a soup. 1 sachet is the equivalent of a light meal and 2 sachets are the equivalent of a main meal. Hope this helps.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

Would have thought if your trying to keep your weight up, a carbohydrate based drink would be a good idea- its easier to stomach (pun not intended!).
I have seen in my local Sainsburys and Tesco, that they now stock Lucosade body building (ie protein based) drinks and bars. Both stores seem to stock them with the water/alcohol/fizzy drinks.
Boots also have their own range and if you go to your doctor, you can get prescrbed Ensure drinks which are apparently OK too.
Don't forget the malt based drinks and nutriment drinks that are often stocked with the ethnic foods in supermarkets.
Another good idea is plain full fat milk, if you want to you can add something like sugar, honey or even milkshake powder to taste. Very basic carb/protein drink, very quickly absorbed into your blood stream (tests show milk was the fastest to become absorbed by the body after exercise) and also easy to drink. Smoothies, shop bought milkshakes and making your own are also options (use semi skimmed milk, add 2 tsp of sugar per 300ml portion, add some fruit/chocolate/whatever you choose to flavor) and put into a blender, with semi skimmed milk you get a really frothy milkshake this way like the posh stuff!
Another new protein/carb drink on the high street is called "for goodnes shakes". I tried a sample the other week, its really nice!
Also check out any local gyms who will often sell protein based drinks which do seem to have more protein then shop-bought stuff if it is protein your after.

I would second the idea of full fat milk and a powder. Nestle does some good chocolate, banana and strawberry powders that can be drunk warm or cold and are tasty. They have sugar in them but as you want to keep your weight up, that shouldn't be a problem I hope. Tesco, Sainsbury's etc all sell them and you can usually find them on the shelves with longlife milk .
Smoothies are good too but I'm not sure if the fruit acid in them would make your stomach problem worse?0 -
myprotein is a really good site. They are the cheapest I have found and also have a lot of helpful articles. There are also some sections to help you choose what types of supplements you need for your varying goals0
