Email from tax office???

I have just had an email, supposedly from the Tax Office, telling me I am due for a tax refund and I have to complete a form to get the refund. There is a spelling mistake and I am concerned this may be a con to get my details. I have not opened the attachment. Surely the tax office would just repay any refund through my wage?
