Offset or not to offset that is the question? Is it be better to offset all our mortgage or pay it off and have done. I understand that we are in a very fortunate position but we have worked very hard in the way of moneysaving and along with a timely redundancy we are looking for the best option. Offset and keep the money safe for a rainy day, keeping your repayments at the same level to clear yur mortgage early without paying any interest on it, plus year on year your amount needed to offset will reduce so you could use that bit for normal repayments or put in a regular saver to use it in multiple ways.
