absolutly sweet fa
if you have no assets they cant do a thing
just ignore their letters and theres not a damn thing they can do about it
and dont listen to the doom and gloom merchants one black mark on your credit report does not stop you getting phone contracts, bank accounts or credit cards trust me i've been through it all before
hope this helps:beer:0 -
I'm not replying re not paying loan but about the skills centre, see my other replies to dan's post and mine, building trades skills centre.
These skills centres are getting away with murder and the fact that they have acted immorally and in some cases illegally does not mean it is easy to get your money back. Anyone else affected contact me via a personal message. I've got my complaint to secretary of state level so far and want to get others on board to fight these !!!!!!!s and get our money back.
As for you few that think it's appropriate to be so rude to others, seriously guys have you never made a mistake before?? When u are faced with such a horrible situation u do tend to clutch at straws that may not help in the long run but seem the only option at the time. People post on here for advice, if we all knew everything we wouldn't be on this site, unless you guys are fonts of all knowledge then move over martin your presence is no longer required! and PS if you know so much, what's the meaning of life? To err is human as they say, leave dan alone and if you have no help for him, don't bother replying.0 -

Not to troll, as I am genuinely interested as I am an ex-bankrupt (it's been 6 years and almost 1 month since I went bankrupt!)... how do mortgage companies see further into your credit history than 6 years? Surely they all use Equifax/Experian?
Also, we got a mortgage in 2006 (albiet 7.14% fixed rate for 3 years - now it is about 4.9% variable) - so bankruptcy doesnt neccessarily stop you getting a mortgage...0 -
Hi all, i know this is an old thread now but if anybodies interested i had a final decision from the financial ombudsman the other day and they ruled in my favour, Barclays PF now have to pay me everything that i have paid them so far plus 8% interest aswell as £100.00 for all the trouble i went through sorting it out. so to all of those that encouraged me to fight this and gave me advice thank-you very much you have been a great help to me. and to all those know it all nay sayers who suggested I was a complete frickwit for even considering to try and retrieve my money from this shambles, you were wrong and unhelpful!0

Just because you won doesn't mean your not a frickwitThere's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.0 -
it means im not a frickwit for persuing the issue, which is all i was claiming. the message was really more about thanking those that helped me than the vailidity of my frickwit status anyways so :T0

Well done for you..but the lesson is do not ignore them ..but fight the !!!!!!!s head on...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
