I'm aiming to pay off my CC first, but I think this is the best way to deal with a 0% overdraft- you might make a little bit of money (though not a lot considering the interest rates at the moment!) Good luck!

Okay, so today's spends weren't too bad, though I didn't get any Christmas shopping done
The parking in town was free because there was a farmers' market on, so OH and I strolled around that and the Christmas Market for a bit before getting too cold and heading off to Pizza Hut to use my 50% off voucher. So my spends were:
£7.57 on lunch in Pizza Hut (it should have been £6.57, but OH only had a fiver in his wallet, and I couldn't be so mean as to ask him for the £1! He put the tip down, so it wasn't too bad).
I therefore have £4 left out of my budget to last until Wednesday, and I've put the odd 43p in my sealed pot. This should be plenty to last me, as tomorrow I study all day and have an hour at uni in the evening (leaving no time for spending) and Tuesday and Wednesday I have full days at university. In fact, I should have 3 NSDs, as I take lunch with me to uni!
I also checked my Quidco, and my LoveFilm trial money has FINALLY been paid (I had the trial in August!) so I should get £15 tomorrow, which I'll pay straight off my CC, taking me under £200! Only a small milestone, but I'm excited to get there. My 52p is also tracking from my sister's Xmas present
Finally, I signed up to a national student survey the other week, purely because you get £10 cash for completing it
and I can complete that tomorrow, so hopefully should be able to pay another £10 by the middle of Dec, once I've been paid.
I'll do a to-do list in the next post, this one is getting super long, and I'll update on the state of my current account tomorrow, as I think my car insurance DD comes out then.
Also, my new short-term goal is to have my credit card cleared by Christmas (or the 23rd, when I get paid). I'm going to update my signature to show that now!

Okay, so to do for tomorrow:
Get going on DooYoo!
Look at Bingoport?
Empty all the bins in the house
Transfer £15 over to CC
Complete student survey
Get up to payout on work at home job
Look for some eBay stuff
This is quite ambitious, considering I don't get home from uni until 8pm, but I'll give it a go!0 -

[STRIKE]Empty all the bins in the house[/STRIKE] (mum already did this before I got up despite asking me to do it...not complaining though!)
Transfer £15 over to CC
[STRIKE]Complete student survey[/STRIKE]
Get up to payout on work at home job (I worked out that I only need £3.20 to get to the £20 payout level, so I'll do that tonight)
Look for some eBay stuff
I can't transfer the £15 over to my CC yet as despite it showing on Quidco as paid, it's currently floating in midair somewhere and hasn't appeared in my account yet, which is rubbish as I really wanted to get under £200 today. I have completed the student survey though, so £10 should be on its way to me on the 12th Dec.
This month, I'm on course to pay £145 minimum off my CC (£15 Quidco + £20 job + £10 survey + £100 in ISA) plus any excesses I have in my current account! I'm too excited that I might actually get this paid off.0 -

I think I'm going to start my PADs now, thanks beanielou
I've just paid £2.36 off my CC, since all my card transactions for work train travel came out today and that was the excess left to round my account down to £140. However, the DD for my CC minimum payment came out today from my overdraft as well (which accounts for the added £5 on the OD, argh!) which I forgot about- now I'm paying it off more regularly I might cancel the DD, since it's just moving debts into debts. I'm not sure I can though, since it's a student card and I might have to have a DD set up- will have to look into that.
I got my money up to payout on my work at home job, so should have £20.10 winging its way to me by either this Thursday or the next- it's going straight on the CC!
Andddd I found some stuff to eBay- I took pictures of it all, but had to update Turbo Lister in order to use it and then it blew up on me
I will have another look in a minute, but I'm probably not going to list anything tonight- I'm way too tired, since I only got in at 8.30pm. On Friday, which is my day off, I'm going to have a look in some of the boxes still packed up from our house move, since we are having plasterers come in on Saturday and they need to be moved anyway. Anything in them is either going to be binned, charity shopped or eBayed, so hopefully I can get a little more from that.
Today was an NSD
I still have £4 in my purse, and I've made lunch for the next two days at uni.
Off to update my sig to reflect my tiny CC payment now

Ugh I am so tired this morning- I only got about 5 hours sleep. I'm on my way to the National Archives in London to do some research for my dissertation- but I waited until after 10am so I could get my railcard discount and only spend £2.70 to get here rather than £4.10. So I still have £1.30 left for today.
I'm not going to aim for anything today as I'm so tired, except to be in bed at 10pm! I might try and list a couple of things on eBay, but that would be a bonus. Hoping my Quidco has gone in as well so o can pay it off my CC, but haven't checked yet.
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Evening guys! I have been a bit naughty today and spent a little on food :S Out of my £20 for this week, I still have £15 left until Wednesday, and I've put 53p in my sealed pot

My Quidco money got paid as well, so I'm going to go and pay that off my CC and update my sig in a minute! Under £200!

I get paid £20.10 from my work at home job tomorrow too, so more will be paid off then. 0 -
Hello guys! It's finally my day off work, so I'm sat in my living room having just bleached my roots and I'm going to do some dissertation work later.

I don't know what my spends look like
I spent a little yesterday, about £7 in total I think- but it's pretty good considering I went out after work with 2 of the girls I work with to a pub for food and drinks (I was driving, so only had 2 large cokes and some cheesy chips with BBQ sauce
) I need to sort out my change for my sealed pot and then update on how much I have left. Back on the wagon today though- no more non-essential spending for me this week!
My £20.10 from my work-at-home job has gone in, so I can take my CC down to £173.48 today! £37ish paid off this month so far and I still have £100 sat in my account waiting to be paid off once I've bought all my Christmas pressies
Today will be a NSD, as long as I can find some E45 cream at home (I've got a horrible rash on my face and the only thing that ever sorts it out is E45). Going to try and do some Dooyoo and eBay tonight as well, was meant to be going out with my mum for a pampering evening at her friends but my mum isn't very well so we aren't going now.
Off to pay off some of my CC and look at my cash in my purse now!0 -
Okay, so 83p went into my sealed pot, and I have £7 to last me until Wednesday for non-essential spends. I also only have 3 more Christmas presents to buy!

Interest went onto my CC today
But I did pay off the £20.10, taking it down to £176.86! Yay. 0
