pumpkin and haggis!

Hello
In my kitchen I have a big pumpkin that I never got round to carving at halloween. Will it still be any good and what can I do with it. Really really don't want to just chuck it.
Also yesterday in M&S I bought some haggis, anyone have some good ideas of what I could make for tea? What would go nice with this or is there a recipe I could use it in?
I've rearranged my kitchen today and now have major baking urges so off to fulfill those now.

Pumpkin; these can last up to April time if kept properly. Soup, pumpkin pie, muffins, use it to bulk out sauces etc.0

Haggis? You eat haggis with mashed potato and mashed neeps (or turnip, if you insist.) Anything else is a waste of good haggis imho, and I say that as a Scot who loves the stuff.
Pumpkin. If it was sold as a "carving pumpkin" it will taste of even less than an eating pumpkin. You need a nice spicey soup recipe or something strongly flavoured to provide interest. But it will keep for a long time if not cut.Val.0 -

I don't agree at all.
Haggis can be a wonderfully versatile food and doesn't HAVE to be served with anything.
One of my favourite recipes is chicken stuffed with haggis.
I would roast the pumpkin flesh with coriander seeds and cumin and then mash with butter and seasoning and serve with the haggis. :drool:0
