    5. Will see if I can do the blood donation too - am due another one
    6. HM dinners too if poss - no more than one 'Can't be bothered' emergency takeaway.

That's way enough for this week!

  • Hey everyone,

Thanks for all your lovely messages. I went for my trial this morning and it was fine - the work isn't too taxing - making lattes, paninis, delegating to 16 year olds - etc etc! It won't make me a fortune but could be between £120-£150 a month plus tips which are shared, for working every second weekend so that'll go straight onto my debt (I absolutely must not be tempted to spend this money) so that takes the pressure off my salary and gives me a bit of breathing space.

With minimum payments included, I will hopefully be paying off about £180 a month from my debt, sometimes more - which is my target - whoopee! Now I just have to work out how to SAVE some money!!!

Thanks again - have a wonderful week

Good for you. At least if you're working a lot you'll have less time to be tempted to spend the money you're earning.

    Best of luck with everything.

    Hi everyone

Hmmm, I was very naughty last week and forgot to do my goals

My goals for this week are:

    1. Get up to £200 in my AQA account.
    2. Get at least 2 more mystery shopping jobs.
    3. Get another £100 towards my next target debt.
    4. List trampoline in local free-ads paper.

    6. Find a cheap but nice birthday present for my brother-in-law.
    7. Declutter room.
    8. If my sister is pregnant then start putting aside some money each week for the baby.
    9. Sort out what debts I aim to pay off in which month - got a bit off track with this.

milliejohn- can you post outcome- would be really interested whether asda works out cheaper than tescos. thanks
As promised, I thought I'd update you about the supermarket challenge.

The guide price for both supermarkets was very similar. Tesco's worked out to be around £2.50 more on the same items bought in Asda. However, when the delivery note came I'd been charged around £3 more than the guide.

I think this was because the items which are weighed are way off (excuse the pun) when you put them in the basket. They are more epensive when they go through the till.

Asda's website was much slower than Tesco's, but easier to navigate around the aisles.

The drivers from both stores are nice and friendly.

All in all I think that it comes down to which shop will be the cheapest when you do the shopping.
