Exactly so why post here. We are always getting the forums full of posts that clearly dont belong here and as a result have to troll through relevant posts. So why do it?

Hardly the same experience is it.

I can understand your frustration shrek101but geoff only asked a question.

Not disputing that he asked question what I am disputing is that he knew it was the wrong forum, so why did he do it.

As you know its hard enough job as it is constantly trolling through incorrect posts to see the relvants posts. Now is that to much to ask that people post in the right forums. I think not.

If anyone did this the whole structure of the forums would be pointless.

Whats so harsh? I give a valid point that being, the post doesnt belong here. I wasn't rude but polite.

Point being that you have alot more experience than geoff.

He is a newbie and you are a regular.I just wanted to point that out.

Totally irrelavent. If a new poster wants to post they should respect the rules and post in the correct forum. It doesn't matter if Geoff has 1000000 posts or 1 post why should he have to wade through topic after topic in the wrong forum just because someone cannot be bothered to read the rules.

I can understand why Geoff is frustrated, every single pointless post or post in the wrong section pushes another genuine bargain post further and further back.

I have to agree, its very sad when new people come on to this site, and always say " Ive been lurking a while and thought I would post BUT GO EASY ON ME or various other comments along those lines.
This is the reason why people feel so scared to post and why the hell should they be made to feel this way!!!

So you assume that because someone posts are low there are not a regular.

How do you know he doesnt use the forums a lot just reading the forums, then he would know about forum rules. He after all knew what Argos RO means and that these were the wrong forums.

Anyhow about this thread yesterday. It was also in the wrong forums. That there were countless others too.

So maybe you be happy to spend hours going back and forth looking for bargains whilst trolling through requests and other irrrelevant posts.

Guys, no need to argue, we all have to start somewhere but just because someone hasnt posted that much before it doesnt mean that they are a 'newbie'.

Also there is a dedicated Argos thread and that would be a much better place to ask this question instead of starting a new thread.

He clearly knew he was posting in the wrong forum, he stated as much, and as such he should have adhered to the format else the real 'grab it while you cans' will be missed, I think that was Shreks point and I feel I must agree.
