Hi all,
I don't post on this board often, but have posted a thread on this same subject on another board. Just thought it may be of interest/use to some on here:
Most posters on her have a view on mortgages, credit access, impact on house prices & the wider economy, the good parts & the bad parts. There is a wealth of knowledge & information on here about the various types of mortgages & their implications.
We're all aware of the governments/FSA's intention to review the mortgage market, & they've announced a consultation on it.
Details are here http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/press_111_09.htm
The opportunity to take part in the consultation is here

Thought some of you may be interested.
You don't have to be a major player to contribute. I have read numerous consultation documents where individual public members have put forward issues & suggestions.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
