Asda 19" LCD TV/DVD £70 - PRICE MISHAP!!!!! NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!!!

Sorry everyone,............. As you will see from further posts this was a store/staff mishap and the tv's are still priced at £157 instore.

Just got back from my local Asda (Ashford, Kent)and picked up the last 2..............

19" LCD TV/DVD player. They were in a clearance area by the electrical desk. The link above shows you the TV and its online price. I dont know if this is nationwide or just my store so thought I would post in case.

Sticker showed was price as £157 now £70!! Bargain!!!!

Tried all my local Asda's & unfortunatley they are all quoting the online price of £165:-( . looks like u had a VERY good bargin there. I shall keep a look out as i want a new tv for my ds bedroom.

Just called my local asda she said they are £165, and not in the sale, can they do that sell them at different prices in different places :mad:

Tried 2 local stores and each one quoted me £165

Hmmmmm, I have dropped them off to my mums so will give her a ring when she is back at 12pm and find out......... I bet it is the wrong number.....sorry in advance if it is.... but will know for sure soon, I just assumed as it is the same make, size and details!

I also tried my local store and was told NO so I have spoken to ASDA customer service who looking into this......They are trying to contact the Asford Store to check the price etc..... Lawlorlane are you sure the item you have linked is the same product as you have purchased??? I will post back when CS have called me back!!

I have phoned my local store and they have said there is an investigation into the tvs as they shouldnt have been put out at that price. It was a genuine mistake from one of the staff doing the price ups...apparently the Tvs have only just come in and the store manager was less than happy about it. Sorry to have confused you all but I genuinely thought they were reducing them! I will leave this open for a bit so you all know and then delete it.
