Quidco won't pay you if you type in another code... so you won't get any cashback.

And yep, address change relies on you changing address just before you cancel (but after you have cleared your list) to something completely fake.
If you find that still doesn't work, you could try signing up under an address that is completely fake (but not add any movie titles to your list).
Once the account is activated, then change it to your own address and add titles.
The only problem is if your card company will let it through, but I have found that in the past, my nationwide debit card will allow things to go through even if I type in loads of incorrect info. My barclays credit card however has far stricter security checks, so I couldn't do it with that.

just got refused at lovefilm. they are now scanning the name on the credit card. so if you have used them before then you won't get another free trial! bummer. anyone know way around this?

was it the name or just the credit card number itself.
ive had a few trials now with screenselect by using a different credit card and my work address.

Using the link that you posted, it takes you to a screen advertising a one month free trial - do you have to enter the code for it to change to two months??

I have answered my own question here as I just tried it. You put the code in and it comes up with the two month trial.

My only concern is that it says "Your gift subscription has already been paid for. The gift rentals are totally FREE."

Does this mean that this is a code that someone has been given after buying a gift subscription - if so, is it OK to use it - legally and morally??

It was a gift I got a while ago for being a special customer, but I didn't purchase it especially.
The codes were said to only supposed to work twice, so I could choose 2 special friends to give them to.
I gave one to myself and resued it on a different address I sometimes stay at, and another to a friend... but then it continued to work.. so gave the code to others, and eventually figured I'd share it here too.
I could have sold it on ebay, but would rather just give back to MSE.

It is perfectly legal for you to use it. Enjoy...

When you call to cancel this in 2 months time, they'll probably offer you a "pay 1 month, get 2 free" option (as they usually do)... so really, you can turn this into a "Pay for 1 month, get 4 free" promotion.

it was a different card of mine. they search the name on the card!!
it was my name that stopped the free trial.!!
