I was recently refused a additional £10k advance on my mortgage by AL why i dont know, however im desperatley looking at short term monthly outgoing savings, im paying 5.04 on a 5 yr fixed which im tied into till nov 2011. Balance is £138000, i was wondering what my chances would be if i asked them to increase the £40k amount i have on interest only. for 12 months

Repeatedly posting fresh threads with portions of the whole story is not going to get you good advice that can allow for your overall position.
You would have been turned down by A&L because of the £30k other debts you have.
In light of that, they will also not be keen to entertain interest only.
Get serious about putting together a SOA, and ask the debt-free & mortgage-free wannabee boards to tell you where you can economise.Act in haste, repent at leisure.
