That's exactly what I said above, you are not buying from the site but a marketplace supplier who only had stock of 5 at the time so it's going to be lots of cancelled orders I think.

Where does it tell you the stock levels?
From what I can see, where it says Items: 5 new, it's telling you how many sellers have it, as when you click through it lists all the different prices. The cheapest price is from baseuk which seems to be a big seller, so they may have enough stock to fill orders, I think it's similar to market place on amazon, more so than e-bay.

I'm gonna give it a try anyway, thanks OP, great find :j

  • Does anyone know if this could be done twice with the same card on a different account? I've done an order for myself through quidco too ( :) ) but my friend who is staying want to do it too, but she is electron or solo or something so would need to use my visa. I was thinking maybe I could do it in my name and billing address, but to my friend also at the same address?

Do you think this is okay? She has been trying to find an odd book for a bit and it would be reasonable then, wheras as ebay it is sky high.

i tried it but it never worked. i used a different email and address but same card and they noticed. i got an email cancelling order :o

Didn't you have to confirm the order though? If there was no option to enter a code (it was on the final screen before confirming I think), why did you place the order if you weren't happy paying full price?
