Bank Manager approves but now a problem

My fiance went into Natwest at the weekend to discuss a loan and did all paperwork for a loan!! Computer said no but the rep in bank could not understand and spoke to branch manager who said the loan was approved pending a few bits of proof papework which she took in today however now been told there is a problem so now with the lending department. On the day though she asked for confirmation 3 times that the loan was apporoved and was guaranteed that all she had to do was drop off the usual pay statements etc so the money could be deposited!! Anybody got any ideas where she stands as now she has a car on hold for her!!!:money:

Unless it was confirmed unconditionally in writing, in the lobby of the bank without a loan by the sounds of it.

it's very unlikely that a loan declined in the branch and then appealed will be agreed

    sorry

It sounds like the BM has agreed to send the application to lending for a manual assessment. On the basis that the account has been run well over a certain period of time.

It don't mean that they will definitely get the loan lending still may say no.

The BM actually stated that the loan had been approved and all she needed was 3 months pay statements and the money would be cleared into the bank account:mad:
