Hi There,
Am looking to get a mortgage around Feb next year (2010). Am a little bit worried that i won't get accepted. In the last few years my direct debits have always gone through for credit card and mobile phone. But i got a CCJ from when i was a student with my student account, which i paid off in May but i'm worried that they will look at this and refuse me? The CCJ was from 2006 so a few years ago now.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.
Let me know if you need more info.
David

If the ccj is now settled there is nothing more that you can do at this time, make sure you see a whole of market mortgage specialist as there will still be lots of products and options for you.0

if you are looking to borrow in Feb next year then it would be an idea to speak to a broker now. You will, at least, know where you stand and quite possibly avoid disappointment further down the line.
make sure you take a copy of tyour credit file with you.....all the best with it.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0
