Hi
Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

I have been using this laptop wirelelessly for 18 months ISP was Plusnet. Today we changed ISP to Sky and I now cannot connect the laptop. The desktop PC and 2 mobile phones connect wirelessly Ok so I assume that the problem does not lie with the router.
Laptop is a Gateway MT6839b ( i am not sure which type of encryption this is compatible with).
I have ploughed through all the help sections on Sky website and Netgear router pages ( router is Netgear DG834G).
I even briefly disabled security on the router to see if that was what was preventin connection but this had no effect.
Windows network and sharing centre reports that I am connected to local and internet but I cannot read any web pages.
Obviously I am missing something but what ? All help gratefully received
