Uh oh, that's a nightmare for you! It would have been helpful for them to post a message on the front page to warn of the down time. Will it effect your BR hearing at all?
  • oh no! That's a very long time for essential maintenance work! Will you get your forms filled in ok in time?

We are going to court on 7th and I had made arrangements for my parents to have the children this Saturday so we could get them done. Looks like that won't be happening now.

I think I will get all the info together so I can get it done during the week after.
  • Luckily my local court has a drop in service, so have moved my plans to drop in Wednesday next week instead.

However I am concerned for people that have appointments booked and as you say would have been nice to have some notice!

Knowing how flaky the online service is, maybe the IS had no more notice than you lot did?

In other words, "essential maintenance" = "emergency repair", since the system went "t!ts up" without warning?

Usual state for the IS site.....and if their tec support is anything like it was in the NHS it's no wonder it always falls over with users

As you know I have been filling my forms in (for what seems like ages) and to be fair once you had logged on there was anotice about this planned outage. This has been there for the last couple of weeks, I know it is no good if you had not logged on, maybe they shaould have had it on their front page.

In that case, since they have an email address for you, you could have been told.
