Hi, I currently have mortagage with the halifax, My property is worth around £115000.. Current o/s balance is £89.000.. Me & my partner have a fixed mortgage for 5 yrs which is due to expire in feb 2012..
However I have a credit card with barclays which i have paid late a few times my own fault i know... and is now showing as 4!! missed payments on my credit record.. Everything else is showing as green satisfactory..
Anyway my query is will this effect me & my partner when our mortgage is due for renewal in feb 2012??

If you keep doing it then almost certainly yes if you try to remortgage to a new lender.
Is it showing a status 1(late or missed payment) four different times, or is it showing a status 4 (which means you are 4 months behind and on the verge of defaulting). Both would impact on your credit score, but the second is much worse.
If you bring it up to date and make sure every payment is made on time between now and Feb 2012 I would imagine you should be ok assuming everything else is kept in good order too.0 -
No im up to date with all my payments they were on different occasions and are now just showing as 4 payments late on my summary page but on my actuall report it just shows 1 payment late?? very strange..0
