It's got to be the hottest day of the year and I'm working.. :mad:

The worst thing is friends keep texting me;

Why can't people remember & stop depressing me even further than asking if I can do X, Y, Z and me having to remind them that (you guessed it), I'm working!!

Its not as though I've taken this Sat job on suddenly & I have actually been here since Feb. Why cant people be more sensitive?

It wouldnt suprise me if most of my "friends" have forgotten I'm going to Australia too you know.

I think a lot of people pull a sickie when the footballs on. Good for you working through it. On the other hand it's nice that they want you with them I'd rather have forgetful friends than none.

Alternatively you could call them all really early tomorrow morning when they are all in bed with hangovers/sunstroke and invite them out for the day

In this instance I'd rather they were forgetful to be honest.

But (mwahahahahahahahahaha) I WILL be getting my own back when I'm in Oz, dont you worry!!

I know it will be worth it in the end, its just tough as I dont want to miss out on anything - although I've had to do it for the past god knows how many years when in debt, so what do the next 6 weeks matter?!

Unfortunately if I dont come into work I dont get paid & I'll probably lose my job - its casual rather than on contract or anything - and for every £1 I earn will be worth double (or whatever the exchange rate).

4 hours 5 minutes left..
