Hi don't think we've had this thread for a little while........
Today, DD and I made some England flags with some white paper and red crayons and stuck them in our windows. Everyone else on the street has flags, car flags and even England car seat covers so we're joining in but with no spend!
I've cleaned the bathroom thoroughly with Stardrops and planning to do much more cleaning today (around the match).
Will be having a BBQ tonight - will need to visit the butchers and Lidl for some food later.
Will also be getting more washing out on the line.
What have you guys been up to ???

We're going to a BBQ later too, swinging by Aldi on the way to get some of their burgers which are the best burgers in town

It's been a busy day here so far...
Food shop (£11 for the week)
The sunshine and England playing have caused a bit of a spend...sandals for DS, car flags (feel ashamed now in*the*red* made them) and England socks for DS (not to wear with sandals you understand!) oh, and he negotiated new toys for the paddling pool, so I get peace for the match (large water pistol, on offer at £2.74).
Back home - rubbish in garage to dump, cut back a few big shrubs that have finished flowering, got last year's paddling pool out (that's a first, usually buy a new one  ), got the patio table and chairs out and cleaned them too.
Stripped the sofa of its covers, plus the cushions - all been washed and last bit drying on the line. I got ahead of myself last night by cleaning and hoovering downstairs and weekly washing done.
Quick and easy lunch, in time to put feet up for the footie
I definitely need a rest now! :rotfl: Back on the DFW Wagon:

thanks for starting the thread, you are right it has not been on here for a while.
Well I have not been able to get on the PC for at least a couple of days (properly) so I am going to post yesterday as well:
1. Got lifts to & from work where as usually on a Friday I have to use the bus. Saved me £1.90.
2. Bought a new Morgan de Toi top.......for £1.99 in a charity shop! It is spotless, like new and very lovely. It is the first new top I have bought myself for ages. Result.
3. Drove to pub last night as my BF who has been studying hard for his OU exam on Monday deserved a bit of a break....so saved on taxis and I only had to buy one small round.
4. Have constructed a meal planner for next week which is using up pasta (twice) that we already have and most of the other meals are HM and very cheap to make - yet still very nutritious.
5. Done about 4 loads of washing which have all dried really quickly on the line.....we don't use the tumble dryer round these parts anymore, unless we really have to!
6. Watched 'the match' at home with foodie treats instead of going to a pub & spending loads of money.....and my treats were a bowl of chopped carrot sticks (26p) and a tub of hummus (85p) which happens to be my fave snack in the world.
7. Used up two crusts of a loaf of bread for my breakfast (marmite on toast - yum!).
8. Got a pair of free pj's with an Yves Rocher order (£5 on quidco earned in the process too) which are lovely & comfy and great for that half hour on a Saturday morning where you have your brekkie and lounge about before getting ready for the day.
Think that's it for the moment! Not going out tonight or tomorrow so should save some money and hopefully have a no spender tomorrow too. Fingers crossed.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
