Pixie beauty products...?

...Has anyone tried any of these?

Comments

  • Hello Mrs Edwards to be,

I recently bought some pixi make up from Brand Alley which is really good.
I hope thats the make you mean with no e on the end?
  • oops yeah sorry! The products look quite skin friendly (if rather expensive!)
  • Well, I remember reading about them a few years ago, but I don't like to buy expensive products. So when I saw them on Brand Alley for less than half price I just couldn't resist.

I have got the brightening primer which is nice and pearly and not too shimmery or glittery.
The brow lift which is a bit like an eyebase primer but you use it just under the eyebrow and that is really good.
The sparkle stick which does give a nice shimmer and a red/gold lipgloss which is lovely too.
Do you ever take a look at Brand Alley? I love their cosmetics sales and I recently got a lot of lovely Stila make-up in one of there 4 days sales and it was the cheapest prices I have ever seen on that particular range.
Where have you seen the pixi make-up? Was it on a website? For heavens sake never use !!!!!!!!!!!! as it is a scam site. I am still trying to get my money back and so are hundreds of others. Sorry gone a bit off thread here!
  • sorry are we not supposed to post website names on here? I see the name of the site has come out in exclamation marks? Still a bit new to the rules on here!
  • I've used lip blush from Pixi - I really liked it but one thing I would say is the colour on the packet/site bore little resemblance to the actual way it looked on!
  • It was actually whilst watching a make-up "tutorial" on You-tube that I came across Pixi products. the girl mentioned the spf20 tinted moisturiser/concealer and said it was really good.
  • I haven't tried that but I have always read good reviews on their products in magazines. Not so much lately as I think they may have gone bust. I don't think I am mixing them up with any other company. I think you would have to order online and then its tricky making sure the concealer colour suits your skin.

As Juice says, quite often the colour on the box or (thumbnail on the internet site) bears no relation to what the product looks like when you get it
  • Hmm, I was looking at their website yesterday and that was up and running still?
