Mortgage repayments

Hi all , we are thinking of buying a house and would like to be able to work out approximately how much different mortgage amounts would cost us each month.
ie , Approx how much we would be repaying on a 200,000 mort compared to a 250,000 mort.
Sorry if this sounds garbled.......is there any tool that can help us do this?
Cheers , Sam

most of the mortgage lender websites have a calculator on them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

A £200k mortgage will cost 4/5 of a £250k mortgage, if the product is the same. Easy peasy. (£200k/£250k = 4/5).0 -
Thanks guys..that has given me a bit more to go on0

If you would like an offline calculator instead of online one, try this: http://www.mortgage-calculator-pc.com/downloads/mortgage-calculator.exe
The author claims it is made specially to compare different mortgage offers.0 -
whilst I use an offline quote system
I noticed http://www.skipton.co.uk/mortgages/calculators/flexible_mortgage_calculator.asp it seems simple ( rounded up to nearest £) - allows input of posible overpay
( based on daily interest- car some lenders still use annual)
alternative the regulator- FSA has a calculator on its consumer site
http://www.fsa.gov.uk/consumer/07_MORTGAGES/calculator/mcalculator.html
as well as a number of guides and comparison tablesAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
