Help Navigating The Pensions Morass

Hi,

Does anyone know of a book or publication which gives a good overall view of pensions. Detailing terminology, relevance, UK law, has worked examples etc.

I've reached that age where I need to start paying attention to my pension as opposed just paying into my pension.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    BongleSnurdle,
You don't need to buy a book, you have a search engine in front of you, and a hundred views on the best way forward here on MSE.
Clearing your debts and putting away what you can for now would be a good start point.

    Best of fortune.

Pensions are not the only way to ensure adequate funds in retirement anyway.
  • Hi BongleSnurdle,

There are some basic (and I mean basic) pension and retirement details on the FSA's Money Made Clear website.

If you have any further questions after reading, post back here and we'll try to help.

Do you know the different types of pension schemes, for example?
