Sounds like misleading practices to me. Just spent a day or two deciding what we need for the home only to have the order cancelled. The T&Cs specially say that I have until 24th December to use it on any transaction. A friend got their big code accepted yesterday with multiple items. Lucky! Also, I was expecting to have my code reinstated automatically. GRRR.

If anyone has a 20% code to pm me I would be grateful. I had a 10% code passed to me from a lovely site member, and have let my student son have it to buy his girlfriends pressie, so I am back to square one for other son's laptop.

I've failed miserably to get anything more than 5% on a raft of emails so looks like Comet won't be getting any business from me. I had a budget of £400 for a laptop, they had exactly what I wanted at £599 but means I needed at 35% or better code. Guess I shouldn't have got my hopes up.

I spent hours on the phone to them about it and got no-where so i've given up and am hoping to get another code off some kind person and start again!!!

I don't mean to be rude, but none of us have a right to the big vouchers. I wanted one too but I didn't get one, that doesn't mean Comet won't get my business. Any voucher is better than no voucher if you wanted something and they were offering it at the same price as other companies.

When I read comments from the newbies I am bewildered by their attitude (not all) I expect better from someone like yourself who has contributed many times to this site. They should learn: we except defeat, are thankful for the persons who gained from the offer and then move on, after a litle moan
