How a line that is not normally stocked can be half price is beyond me.
Special purchase maybe but half price, no.
However, Boots have obviously got a little clause that allows them to say it is half price. They have had plenty of little clauses since OOTW started this year.

Agree! I thought by law something has to be sold at full price for at least 28 days before it can be reduced- infact in a store I used to work in, we had to put a little sign up explaining that the stuff in the sale had been sold in other stores for at least 28 days (just so customers didn't kick up a fuss at how lousy the tail end of the sale was!- full of clutter, looking like the wrong end of Oxford Street!)

Maybe its an "introductory offer" like some supermarkets have on some products for a few weeks before bumping it up (and then reducing it several weeks later when they realise it does not sell!)

I thought it was the Nutri-Heat hair dryer that was on last weeks- I picked one up for half price, used toluna vouchers and paid zero!
  • Just tried Boots in Liverpool City Centre and neither of the shops have them out yet. SA also advised that they are not on 342 :O(

Lakeside said they couldn't be purchased today, and that it was an introductory offer of £60 and .................. was on 3 for 2!

No doubt it'll be like the Elle Bag offer when some stores had them at £26 and others at £20. Some will have the P & P sets on 3 for 2, others won't, think of the number you first thought of, and Hey Diddle Diddle!
