How can I safely recycle an energsy saving lightbulb and standard batteries?
Anywhere special I can take them?

Some council waste collection sites have places for batteries.
Bulbs are too complicated to recycle IMHO so they will get landfilled.0 -
Don't know about bulbs, but PC World recycle batteries. At least, the one in Kings Lynn does, so it's likely larger ones will.0

Thanks for that - didn't know - I've got a PC World round the corner (but I wouldn't normally darken its doorstep).
Ikea recycles both, but obviously don't make a special trip.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
