Scottish Power won't remove prepayment meter
I've just moved into a new flat which is rented through a local housing authority. The flat currently has a pre-payment key meter which I would like to have removed. The current supplier is Scottish Power, who when I contacted to request it be changed to a normal meter was advised they would not do this as I rent my home.
Are there any suppliers out there that would be willing to change this meter?

call back and ensist, if the person you speak to can't help, ask for a manager and take names and details of the conversation, tell them if they don't you will leave them.
of course you can probably save money moving but all suppliers will do a credit check before agreeing to giving you a credit meter.0
